Lespakket op school

De Dutchclub organiseert al meer dan 10 jaar Nederlandse lessen voor basisschoolleerlingen waarvan Nederlands de tweede taal is. Spelenderwijs de basiswoordenschat uitbreiden en het zelfvertrouwen in het spreken vergroten is daarbij het doel. Speciaal voor kleuters en starters in de Nederlandse taal heeft de Dutchclub materiaal ontwikkeld wat wordt ingezet in lessen op school of thuis. De basiswoordenlijst Amsterdamse Kleuters (BAK-lijst) is hierbij het uitgangspunt. In het tijdschrift voor inclusief onderwijs & remedial teaching (van de LBRT) stond onlangs een artikel over het Dutchclub lespakket.

12 theme boxes

The lesson package includes 12 themes for a full school year of language lessons. Each theme box contains a picture book, word cards, songs, games, creative activities, and clear instructions. It also includes a full year of access to the online Dutchclub platform with video lessons and extra games. A parent license is also available to continue practicing together at home and to increase parental involvement.

Easy to use

Each theme box contains clear instruction cards for the games and (creative) activities and is ready to use right away. The tasks and games can be played together with the teacher, teaching assistant, reading volunteers, or even with older student buddies.

Dutchclub online

On the Dutchclub online platform, supportive video lessons can be watched and online games played. It is also possible to provide parents with a license to practice together at home and to increase parental involvement. www.dutchclubonline.nl

Presentation of the Lesson Package

Upon request, a brief on-site presentation about the background of the Dutchclub lesson package can be provided. For example, during a professional development day focused on NT2 (Dutch as a second language), multilingualism, and preschoolers. During this session, there will be time to try out the materials and to exchange ideas about working with multilingual students in the classroom.
